Job summary

Variance Trading Corporation invites a qualified Medical Technologist (RMT) to join our laboratory team in Metro Manila. You will perform diagnostic testing, ensure accuracy of results, and handle specimens safely in a compliant, well-documented environment.

The ideal candidate holds a PRC-registered RMT, with biosafety and biorisk training, plus Drug Test Analyst and HIV proficiency certifications. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• RMT with a valid PRC license is required.
• Biosafety, biosecurity and biorisk management training completed.
• Certification as Drug Test Analyst is preferred.
• HIV proficiency certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and diagnostic testing procedures per established protocols.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

• Handle and process laboratory specimens properly and safely.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of laboratory activities and results.

• Observe appropriate biosafety, biosecurity, and infection control practices.

• Assist in activities related to drug testing and HIV testing, as applicable to the role.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of laboratory equipment and materials.

• Perform other laboratory-related duties that may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) with a valid PRC License.

• With Biosafety, Biosecurity, and Biorisk Management Training.

• Certified in Drug Test Analyst Training.

• Holder of a valid HIV Proficiency Certificate.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory procedures.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
