• Conduct thorough chart reviews using computer-assisted coding tools.
• Apply in-depth coding principles to assign valid diagnosis codes supported by medical records.
• Demonstrate understanding of acceptable medical record documentation for CMS-HCCs.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Escalate issues appropriately to Team Lead/Operations Manager or Coding SME.
