Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist - AR to join our team. You will provide clerical expertise to ensure patients receive high-quality, efficient care while supporting revenue cycle management for our US-based client.

The role offers work-from-home setup with a Monday–Friday schedule, training, and competitive compensation. You will contribute to timely billing, accurate data entry, and effective communication with patients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in US healthcare revenue cycle or medical billing.
• AR experience and payment posting proficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to information requests internally and externally.
• Enter charges from superbills and demographic reports accurately.
• Add modifiers and payer-specific information, including CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10 where applicable.
• Process charge batches, reconcile discrepancies, and close batches across systems.
• Track and follow up on information requests to and from the practice.
• Meet supervisor targets for accuracy, transactions, and compliance.
• Handle payment postings and patient phone calls.
• Process claims and maintain professional patient interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Details:

• Medical Billing Specialist - AR

• Setup: Work from home until further notice

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Manila time)

• Training schedule: Monday to Friday | 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prompt response to requests for information, both internally and externally

• Timely and accurately enter charges from superbills and demographic reports.

• Expert ability to add specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific information, including authorization criteria, CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10

• Responsible for the processing and discrepancy reconciliation and closing of charge batches across all systems

• Ability to successfully track and follow up on information requests to and from the practice.

• Achieve goals set forth by the supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance requirements

• Payment posting

• Handle patient phone calls professionally.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3-5 yearsof experience working in a medical provider or a billing firm environment in the US Healthcare Industry

• Experience with AR

• Aptitude to learn quickly

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and well with others
