Job summary

SMB Deal Hunter is seeking a Media Buyer & Ad Creative Strategist in the Philippines to scale our growth. You will own Meta campaigns, optimize for newsletter subscribers and qualified calls, and lead rapid creative cycles across formats.

Strong experience with UGC creators and AI-driven workflows is essential. You will manage substantial monthly ad spend, report results weekly, and help design scalable processes so the team can push creative output higher and faster.

Qualifications

• Experience running Meta ads and optimizing campaigns for growth.
• Ability to brief and brief creative at high volume.
• Experience sourcing and briefing UGC creators for campaigns.
• Track campaign history and performance with clear documentation.
• Proficient in using AI tools to accelerate research, scripting, iteration, and variant generation.
• Ability to report performance weekly and honestly.
• Has managed $500K–$1M+ monthly ad spend with specific accounts.
• Strong creative judgment to identify exhausted vs. new angles.
• Comfortable across multiple ad formats beyond your last account.
• Experience working with UGC creators is a strong plus.
• Systems and process oriented; can read trackers without handholding.
• Meta is the primary platform for advertising.

Responsibilities

• Run daily Meta ad buying and optimization to grow newsletter subscribers and booked calls.
• Concept and brief creatives across formats (UGC, static, podcast-style, founder-led talks, carousel).
• Source and brief UGC creators; maintain a warm roster for quick content turnaround.
• Maintain trackers: live, fatigued, queued, tested, and outcomes for onboarding new teammates.
• Leverage AI tools to create research, scripting, iteration, and variants.
• Provide weekly performance reports against stated objectives.
• Demonstrate and document monthly ad spend of $500K–$1M+ with named accounts.
• Analyze accounts to identify best and under-used angles; adapt formats.

Job description

SMB Deal Hunter is growing quickly and we're hiring a Media Buyer & Ad Creative Strategist to add capacity to our team.

The marketing team is already running, the offers work, and the bottleneck now is how much creative we can get into market and how well it gets managed once it is there. You are coming in to raise that ceiling.

The spend is concentrated on Meta. YouTube is a bonus if you have it, not a requirement.

We run SMB Deal Hunter, the fastest growing small business acquisition newsletter with over 265,000 subscribers. Our team also runs a business buying accelerator behind over $275M in small business acquisitions.

What You'll Do:

• Run daily buying and optimization on Meta alongside the existing team to drive new qualified newsletter subscribers and booked calls
• Concept and brief creative at volume across multiple formats. UGC, static, podcast‑style, founder‑led talking head, carousel, whatever the angle calls for
• Work with UGC creators. Source them, brief them, give notes that actually improve the next take, and keep a roster warm so we are never waiting on footage
• Track everything. What is live, what is fatigued, what is queued, what has already been tested and lost. If a new person joined next week they should be able to read your tracker and know the full history
• Use AI tools heavily in your creative process. We want someone who has already built their own workflows for research, scripting, iteration, and variant generation, not someone who is curious about trying it
• Report on performance against the three objectives above, weekly and honestly
• You have personally managed $500K to $1M+ per month in ad spend. This is a hard floor, not a nice to have. Please be specific about the accounts and the monthly numbers
• Deep creative chops. You can look at an account and immediately see which angles are exhausted and which have never been tried
• Comfortable across multiple ad formats, not just the one your last account happened to use
• Experience working with UGC creators is a strong plus
• Strong with AI tools as part of your daily creative process
• Systems and process oriented. You track things without being asked
• Meta is your primary platform

What You Do NOT Need

• Any background in business acquisition or M&A. We will teach you the space
• Experience scaling an email list
• E‑commerce media buyers are very welcome. If your background is DTC and you are excellent at creative, you can do this job
