Responsibilities

• Teach mechatronics fundamentals and advanced topics: pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, actuators, motor controls.
• Deliver lessons on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, CNC systems, and robotics.
• Guide learners in wiring, programming, integration, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Prepare and deliver competency-based lessons, lab exercises, and project-based activities.
• Demonstrate proper use of industrial devices, controllers, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain safety, organization, and readiness of mechatronics/automation labs.

Duties and Responsibilities

MFI Polytechnic Institute is hiring a Mechatronics Instructor to deliver hands-on training in automation, robotics, and system integration. We welcome experienced mechatronics and automation professionals who want to share their expertise and further strengthen their technical and instructional abilities through our structured onboarding and development program.

Successful candidates will undergo a3-month instructor training programfocusing on technical enhancement, teaching methods, safety standards, and laboratory management.

This role is suited for industry professionals and technical practitioners; prior teaching experience or LPT is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach mechatronics fundamentals and advanced topics: pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, actuators, motor controls.

Job Specification

Must-have:

• Industry experience in mechatronics, automation, robotics, instrumentation, or controls

Preferred:

• Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, etc.)
• TESDA NC II/NC III in Mechatronics or related qualifications
• Experience mentoring apprentices, operators, or technicians
• Exposure to Industry 4.0, IoT systems, smart sensors, and modern automation technologies
