Job summary

MFI Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a Master Teacher – Multi-Discipline to provide coverage across programs and ensure instructional quality when regular instructors are absent. You will mentor faculty and support accreditation while maintaining high teaching standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, TESDA credentials, and 5+ years of teaching experience with lab/assessment expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, RAC, Automotive, IT, Visual Graphic Design).
• TESDA NC II/III/IV in at least one discipline.
• Trainer’s Methodology Level I (TM I); TM II preferred.
• 5+ years teaching/training experience (TVET or higher ed), with lab/assessment expertise.
• Familiarity with TESDA TR, CBLM, CCA, and WTR documentation.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic LMS (Google Classroom, Moodle, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned lectures/lab loads; serve as a reserve instructor across disciplines (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, RAC, Automotive, IT, Visual Graphic Design).
• Enforce lab safety, equipment SOPs, and manage consumables across programs.
• Calibrate and review assessments; maintain compliant gradebooks and evidence.
• Mentor faculty: conduct observations, lesson studies, peer reviews, and coaching sessions.
• Support implementation of LDS/LCDS templates and teaching standards.
• Prepare accreditation artifacts (WTR, portfolios, evidence matrices) and manage document control.
• Track student outcomes (pass rates, certifications, OJT placement, employability).
• Engage industry partners for curriculum updates and OJT alignment.
