OceanaGold Corporation is seeking an Engineer - Maintenance (Reliability - Mechanical) to design, develop, test and oversee mechanical maintenance, improving asset health and safety across mining operations. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, licensing, and a background in asset reliability with several years in metals/mining.

You will plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance, investigate failures, and communicate robust solutions while collaborating with production,

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in the metal & mining industry.
• Experience in Asset reliability environment.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer and Professional Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and oversee maintenance of mechanical systems to improve asset health.
• Investigate failures and communicate solutions.
• Plan and schedule maintenance using CMMS to ensure safety and reliability.
