Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an enthusiastic CSSC Application Engineer Trainee (Intern) to join our Customer Sales & Support Center. You will learn to size and select pump solutions and assist engineers with product recommendations for commercial building services projects.

Job description

As our new Customer Sales & Support Center (CSSC) Application Engineer Trainee (Intern), you will be supporting our Customer Sales & Service Center team by providing technical application engineering support, learning to size and select pump solutions, and assisting engineers with product recommendations for commercial building services projects.

What you will be doing

Contribute to accurate and efficient pump selection and application support that helps customers solve critical water and energy challenges.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Assist application engineers with technical product sizing, selection, and quotation preparation using Grundfos tools and software
• Support the evaluation of customer specifications and recommend appropriate pump solutions for commercial applications
• Help prepare technical documentation, submittals, and response packages for customer inquiries
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot application questions and resolve technical issues
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve internal processes and customer response times

Above all, you are a motivated engineering student with strong analytical skills, a curiosity for mechanical or hydraulic systems, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced customer-facing technical environment. We would also imagine that you are or would have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid understanding of fluid mechanics or thermodynamics fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

It is a plus if you also have:

• Familiarity with pump systems, HVAC, or water distribution applications
• Experience with engineering selection or CAD software
• Previous internship or project experience in a technical or customer-facing role
