Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student for the Customer Sales & Support Center, as an Application Engineer Trainee Intern. You will support our team by sizing and selecting pump solutions and assisting engineers with product recommendations for commercial building services projects.

You will learn to use Grundfos tools for sizing, prepare quotations, evaluate customer specifications, and collaborate with senior engineers to address technical questions and improve response times.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.
• Interest in mechanical/hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist application engineers with technical product sizing, selection, and quotation preparation using Grundfos tools.
• Support evaluation of customer specifications and recommend appropriate pump solutions for commercial applications.
• Help prepare technical documentation, submittals, and response packages for customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot application questions and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve internal processes and customer response times.
