Job summary

Advantest Corporation seeks a DH Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines to deliver device handling solutions across the SEA region, focusing on handler features, Change Kits, and docking interfaces. You will collaborate with Sales to grow the installed base through technical consultation and customer engagement.

Responsibilities include leading design and project execution with CAD, defining standards, and cross-functional reviews; providing engineering support for CK/Docking; and driving

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Thermal / Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in mechanical design or mechatronics/automation.
• Fluent CAD skills 2D (AutoCAD, Cadra) and PLM (NX, TC).
• Good mechanical design knowledge with basic electrical basics.
• Willingness to travel and to support overseas assignments.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead with designers, R&D and customers to deliver device handling solutions.
• Lead design concept development and customer-facing design reviews for alignment.
• Define and own customer-specific design standards across projects.
• Demonstrate CAD, simulation and documentation governance as technical reference.
• Drive improvements across handling solutions, CK and docking interfaces.
• Lead end-to-end project execution with planning, risk management and delivery.
• Partner with Sales as senior technical advisor to expand DH business and IB.
