Job summary

Stage Riggers Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems using CAD tools, perform stress analyses, and ensure safety compliance.

You will work with project managers, technicians, and supervisors to translate requirements into practical solutions. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering (design and analysis).
• Proficiency in CAD software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with safety standards and building codes (AS/NZS, ISO).
• Excellent problem‑solving and ability to work independently within a team.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations and stress analysis to ensure safety and integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and site supervisors to translate requirements.
• Review specifications and blueprints to develop comprehensive solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and industry codes.
• Prepare detailed drawings, technical documents, and client deliverables.
• Support procurement by specifying materials and equipment.
