Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations (load analysis, stress analysis, thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, etc.).
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of mechanical systems.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend design improvements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, procurement, and project management).
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer (if required by jurisdiction)
- Relevant work experience (project-based or industry-specific)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations
