Job summary

HeroTech in Makati/BGC hybrid area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to research and develop science‑fiction inspired gadgets. You will support senior engineers and lead your own projects with hands‑on engineering and an agile approach.

The role covers mechanical design, CAD, electronics and software integration, prototyping, testing, fabrication, and documentation, including filming content. A passion for sci‑fi and content creation is a plus. Hybrid work schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design and analysis in product development.
• Familiarity with electronics and software integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and analysis of components and systems.

Mechanical Design Engineer

HeroTech engineers gadgets from science fiction. We share our process on social media, along with files, links, and tutorials so that others can do the same.

We do this because when people see science fiction brought to real life, it's inspiring. And when people can do it themselves, it's empowering. We're on a mission to inspire and empower people: we're on a mission to prove that anybody, anywhere can become a hero.

We're looking for a mechanical design engineer to research and develop science fiction technology. Think lightsabers, web shooters, and similar projects. You would both support projects of the senior engineer and lead projects of your own. You should be a fan of science fiction and superhero media! You should also be interested in content creation, whether that's behind the camera or in front of the camera. If you're self-directed, proactive, and detail-oriented this will be a great fit. We take a hands-on approach to engineering and develop using an iterative, agile process. While the role is mainly mechanical, expect exposure to electrical and software tasks.

Salary range

50,000 - 70,000 Philippine Pesos with additional bonuses and fast promotion track depending on performance
