Job summary

HeroTech in Makati/BGC area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who can design, prototype, and integrate electronics and software with mechanical systems. You’ll collaborate with a senior engineer and lead your own projects, with a hands-on, agile approach to development.

We value fans of science fiction and content creation, and offer a hybrid work setup, Monday–Friday 10am–6pm, with a salary range of PHP 50,000–70,000 plus bonuses and rapid promotion potential.

Mechanical Design Engineer

HeroTech engineers gadgets from science fiction. We share our process on social media, along with files, links, and tutorials so that others can do the same.

We do this because when people see science fiction brought to real life, it’s inspiring. And when people can do it themselves, it’s empowering. We’re on a mission to inspire and empower people: we’re on a mission to prove that anybody, anywhere can become a hero.

We’re looking for a mechanical design engineer to research and develop science fiction technology. Think lightsabers, web shooters, and similar projects. You would both support projects of the senior engineer and lead projects of your own. You should be a fan of science fiction and superhero media! You should also be interested in content creation, whether that’s behind the camera or in front of the camera. If you’re self-directed, proactive, and detail-oriented this will be a great fit. We take a hands‑on approach to engineering and develop using an iterative, agile process. While the role is mainly mechanical, expect exposure to electrical and software tasks.
