PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Cost Engineer (Mechanical) based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila.

The role focuses on detailed cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for mechanical projects, with responsibility for cost control and reporting. You will work with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to optimize resources, while staying updated on industry practices and regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of cost engineering experience in QS/consultancy.
• Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, construction methods and regulations.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for mechanical projects.
• Monitor and control project costs to align with budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers for efficient resource use.
• Prepare cost reports and present findings to senior management.
• Provide technical cost guidance to project teams.
