Job summary

J.E. Manalo & Co. Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Assistant to support repair, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of light and heavy equipment.

You will work closely with the Senior Mechanic and Chief Mechanic to ensure that equipment is properly serviced, safe to operate, and maintained in reliable working condition. The role emphasizes teamwork on job orders, conducting checklists, and preparing work accomplishment reports, with fresh graduates welcome to apply and opportunities

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of gas and diesel engine functions.
• Knowledge of tools and their proper functions.
• Ability to operate light equipment.
• Must know how to drive.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Graduate of any trade school or related technical program.
• Familiarity with light and heavy equipment.
• 1–2 years of experience in light and heavy equipment repair and maintenance is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of light and heavy equipment.
• Dismantle damaged or defective mechanical parts under supervision.
• Work as a team member on assigned Job Orders.
• Assess parts that require replacement and determine the probable cause of equipment failure.
• Conduct checklists and inspections of light and heavy equipment.
• Prepare work accomplishment reports.
