Generator

Operation

• Operate diesel generators in manual, automatic, and ATS/AMF configurations

• Monitor electrical parameters (voltage, frequency, load) and engine conditions

• Perform load transfer, load sharing, and basic synchronization

• Ensure continuous and reliable power supply

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Execute daily, weekly, and scheduled preventive maintenance

• Perform oil, fuel, air, and coolant servicing

• Inspect mechanical and electrical components

• Conduct corrective repairs on engine, alternator, and control systems

DEF /Emissions System Handling

• Monitor DEF levels, quality, and consumption

• Diagnose SCR/DEF alarms, derates, and shutdown

• Maintain DEF tanks, injectors, sensors, and exhaust after-treatment systems

• Ensure compliance with environmental and emissions requirements

• Diagnose faults on Perkins diesel engines

• Interpret alarms, fault codes, and control panel indicators

• Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and wiring diagrams

• Coordinate with OEM or service providers as needed

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Follow site safety rules and LOTO procedures

• Maintain generator logbooks, PM records, and service reports

• Record fuel usage, runtime hours, and DEF consumption

• Report defects and risks immediately
