Job summary

INITIA Group in Singapore is seeking a Barista (Matcha & Dessert Specialist) to craft high-quality matcha beverages, coffee, gelato and desserts while delivering friendly customer service. The role supports a Korean-inspired matcha-tea house and dessert concept within a fast-paced cafe environment.

The position offers part-time hours with a schedule of at least 20 hours per week, plus opportunities for growth and training in specialty tea and cocktail drinks preparation.

Qualifications

• Barista or Café & Bar experience preferred (training provided).
• Friendly, outgoing, and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food hygiene certification is an advantage.
• Applicants must have eligibility to work in Singapore (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve matcha-based beverages, hot and iced drinks, and desserts according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and matcha equipment.
• Take orders accurately and operate the POS/cashier system.
• Support opening/closing duties and coordinate with the service team.
