Mondelēz International is seeking a senior marketing leader for the Philippines to own the multi-category brand portfolio and drive sustainable growth across Meals & Beverages, Biscuits, and Chocolate. You will balance local market insight with global brand standards, leading a cross-functional team to deliver impactful campaigns and innovations.
The role requires extensive leadership experience, deep market knowledge of the Philippine consumer landscape, and a track record of translating brand
The Philippines is one of the most compelling marketing leadership roles in Southeast Asia. You will lead a multi-category portfolio of power brands, each at a different stage of its growth journey, in a market of over 110 million consumers where snacking culture is deeply embedded in daily life. The intersection of traditional trade, modern retail, and rapid digital adoption creates a uniquely complex and rewarding commercial landscape.
Eden is the undisputed leader in cheese spreads and a household staple across Filipino kitchens. Cheez Whiz holds significant equity in a complementary space. Tang is a beloved powdered beverage brand with scale and a transformation agenda to unlock its next chapter. These are categories with clear growth headroom. You will define and own the category growth strategy for each, accelerating growth through strengthening the core brands and leading breakthrough innovation in formats, occasions, and adjacencies.
Oreo is a global icon with strong momentum in the Philippines and a clear ambition to become the iconic biscuit brand in the market. Your challenge is to unlock Oreo's full potential, driving it towards undisputed category leadership whilst identifying whitespace expansion opportunities to build a winning biscuit portfolio.
Cadbury Dairy Milk and Toblerone sit in a category with significant headroom. This is a market development challenge: driving penetration, unlocking new consumption occasions, and making chocolate a more habitual part of Filipino snacking culture. You will define and lead the strategy to build these brands by expanding the category itself, capitalising on growing consumer appetite for affordable indulgence and celebration occasions.

Own end-to-end brand and portfolio strategy for the Philippines, making smart trade-offs across categories to fuel the business's growth ambition. Drive profitable top-line growth through strong P&L orientation, resource prioritisation, and commercial judgement that goes well beyond brand creativity. You will be accountable for both the quality of the thinking and the rigour of the delivery.
The Philippines is one of the most socially connected consumer markets in the world, with among the highest daily social media usage globally. You will lead marketing that is culturally fluent, platform-native, and built for how Filipino consumers actually discover, engage with, and buy brands today. This includes social commerce, creator partnerships, performance marketing, data-driven media optimisation, and building brand love in feeds as well as in store. You will do this across a retail landscape that demands distinct playbooks: large Modern Trade accounts, a vast and fragmented Traditional Trade network that remains the backbone of FMCG distribution, and fast-growing e-commerce platforms where discovery, conversion, and loyalty each operate by different rules.
Drive breakthrough innovation in Meals and Beverages, defining new formats, occasions, and adjacencies that unlock category growth. For Biscuits and Chocolate, lead excellent localised execution of global and regional innovation with deep understanding of Filipino consumer behaviour, cultural nuances, and the competitive landscape. Define locally relevant brand positioning that resonates authentically, from the sari-sari store in a provincial barangay to the convenience-store culture of Metro Manila.
Operate effectively within the Mondelēz matrix, working closely and collaboratively with global and regional teams across Equity and Innovation, Insights and Analytics, and cross-functional partners. Put the Philippines on the map as an integral, collaborative, and high-contributing market within the SEA region. Influence across without direct authority. Represent the Philippines credibly in regional forums and advocate for what the market needs to win.
Partner with Commercial, Customer, and Finance teams to ensure brand strategies translate into winning channel execution across all touchpoints. Build joint business plans that integrate brand ambition with commercial reality, and champion marketing's role as a growth driver in cross-functional forums. Bring rigour to promotional planning and investment allocation, working closely with Sales and Revenue Growth Management to optimise return across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and digital channels. Represent the marketing perspective with confidence in P&L discussions, and build the commercial literacy of your team so that brand decisions are always grounded in business impact.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team of approximately 15 people. Build a culture of creative ambition, psychological safety, and commercial accountability. Balance drive and assertiveness with genuine care and the nurturing of talent. Develop the capability of every person on the team, not just the outcomes they deliver.
You have the ability to define and articulate a compelling vision for a market and a portfolio, and the presence to bring people with you. You energise teams, galvanise cross-functional partners, and create a sense of shared purpose that elevates performance beyond the sum of individual efforts.
You understand the Philippines deeply, or you have demonstrated the ability to assimilate rapidly into a new culture and lead with local relevance from day one. You do not impose external playbooks; you build from local insight, and the best work you produce feels unmistakably of this market. You appreciate the nuances that make the Philippines distinct: the deeply social nature of Filipino consumers, the role of family and community in purchase decisions, the importance of value and accessibility across income segments, the on-the-go snacking culture of Metro Manila alongside the enduring rituals of provincial life, and the blend of global digital fluency with deeply local traditions.
You are native to social-first, platform-led marketing. You understand how brands are built in feeds, not just in media plans. You bring real fluency in creator ecosystems, social commerce, and community-led brand building, and you apply that fluency with strategic intent, not just tactical execution.
You combine creative ambition with P&L discipline. You have delivered aggressive growth targets, and you know how to make trade-offs that fuel both short-term performance and long-term brand equity. You see the numbers and the idea as inseparable.
You have worked in regional or global structures and know how to influence across markets and functions without direct authority. You bring stakeholders with you rather than working around them, and you navigate competing priorities with maturity and clarity.
You are assertive, decisive, and hold high standards for yourself and your team. You also genuinely invest in people: developing talent, building engagement, and creating an environment where people do their best work. You understand that sustainable performance is built on both ambition and psychological safety, and you model both.
