About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and creatively-minded Special Projects Officer to manage the end-to-end development of physical products, packaging, merchandise, and promotional materials — from concept through production to final delivery. This role sits at the intersection of project management, creative quality control, and vendor coordination, working closely with Marketing, Creatives, branch/store teams, and external suppliers to bring trend-relevant, sellable products to market on time and on brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop physical products, packaging, merchandise, and promotional materials for retail, online, and pop-up formats
- Review and quality-check creative output — layouts, artwork, and packaging — for brand consistency and market compliance
- Source, coordinate, and manage external suppliers, agencies, and manufacturers from sourcing through final production
- Monitor supplier timelines and conduct quality control on finished goods
- Liaise across departments (Marketing, Creatives, branches/stores) and external partners (agencies, sister companies) to align on priorities and standards
- Support retail/store operations as needed, including inventory management and store coordination
- Provide basic digital content support (social media assets, creative production) as required
- Take on undefined or newly arising special projects with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Design, or any related field
- Experience in merchandising, product development, project coordination, or a similar role is a plus
- Strong planning, scheduling, and multi-project management skills
- Eye for trend-relevant, sellable product design across retail, online, and pop-up channels
- Experience coordinating with external vendors, suppliers, or agencies
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and form tools (e.g., Jotform)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to independently manage evolving special projects
- Highly detail-oriented, especially for proofreading and artwork/QC approval
- Exposure to retail/store operations (inventory, store builds) is an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work with competing priorities across teams
