Job Summary
The Marketing Associate supports marketing and event initiatives through event planning, brand management, digital marketing, content creation, and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness and business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Marketing & Brand Management
- Support the planning and execution of marketing and brand initiatives.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and brand materials.
- Support advertising and marketing communication activities.
- Assist in maintaining consistent brand messaging across marketing channels.
B. Event Management & Planning
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing company events and marketing activities.
- Coordinate event requirements, suppliers, participants, and other stakeholders.
- Provide hands‑on support during events to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in managing event‑related schedules, materials, and logistics.
C. Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Assist in managing social media platforms and digital marketing activities.
- Create and coordinate social media content and promotional materials.
- Assist in monitoring social media engagement and campaign performance.
- Use Canva to create basic marketing and promotional materials.
D. Content, Promotions & Public Relations
- Assist in copywriting and content creation for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Support public relations and customer engagement initiatives.
- Assist in sales and promotional activities to support business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for marketing requirements.
E. Administrative & Other Duties
- Maintain marketing and event‑related files, documents, and records.
- Assist in project management and monitoring of marketing activities.
- Support the Marketing team in other campaigns and initiatives as required.
- And any duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Events Management, Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related course.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply if they have relevant internship or school event experience.
- Knowledge of Canva and social media platforms is preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and hands‑on.
- Willing to work on‑site, including weekends or outside regular working hours when events require.
