Aggreko is hiring a Specialist - Market Research & Analysis to monitor AMEAPAC markets and translate market activity into structured updates for lead generation. You will track EPC awards, regulatory changes, and competitor moves to support prospecting and strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and written communication skills, with a focus on using AI-enabled tools and trusted sources to deliver timely market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, International Relations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years’ experience in market research, competitive intelligence, industry research, or a related analytical role.
• Strong research and analytical capability, with the ability to identify relevant information and summarize it clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely and accurately.
• Comfortable working with digital research tools, AI-enabled platforms, and structured data sources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned markets for project developments, including EPC awards, FID approvals, project starts, expansions, and relevant regulatory or policy changes.
• Track competitor activity and notable market movements, capturing updates in defined trackers and repositories.
• Summarise market developments into clear, factual written updates, distinguishing new information from previously reported items.
• Identify early indicators of potential project activity or market movement that may warrant further review or follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date market monitoring records to ensure consistent visibility across assigned markets.
• Use digital research tools, AI-enabled monitoring platforms, and reputable public sources to efficiently scan market news, official announcements, and industry updates.
• Work within agreed coverage scope, formats, and guidance to ensure consistency and quality of outputs.
• Support periodic market updates by consolidating recent developments under direction.
