Job summary

The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) is seeking a Market Data liaison to serve as the primary relationship manager for Market Data customers. You will coordinate with PSE units to meet stakeholder needs and process contracts and application forms.

This role is on-site at BGC, Taguig. You will monitor global market data developments, research peers, and propose new products and enhancements. You will maintain market data databases, generate reports, support index calculations, update

Qualifications

• Educational background in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics/Management.
• Relevant knowledge of market data products and services.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison/relationship manager to Market Data customers and effectively coordinates with relevant PSE units for Market Date stakeholder needs; processes and monitors contracts and application forms;
• Monitoring developments in the global market data industry and conducts research on peer exchanges to recommend positioning and direction to be adopted by the Exchange, to formulate high quality proposals for new products and enhancements, and to strategize on how to promote PSE Market Data;
• Consolidates, monitors and maintains databases relating to the stock market and its listed companies, and generates various reports from the data; supports the development of new databases, templates and programs to broaden the Exchange's data bank;
• Provides assistance in the review and computation of PSE indices;
• Provides statistical information to support studies on the stock market;
• Updates certain sections of the website relating to information contained in the disclosures;
• Entertains queries and request for information and/or materials regarding the stock market and facilities data purchases;
• Assist in formulating policies, procedures, and effective solutions that have an impact on PSE Market Data's data management processes and service to its stakeholders;
• Performs ad hoc projects/tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Specification:

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Management

• Work Experience; Zero (0) to Three (3) years of experience, preferably in a financial environment

• Skills Requirement: Knowledge of market data products and services, MS Office (especially MS Excel), and STATA

• Willing to work on-site (BGC, Taguig)
