Job summary

ANGLO-EASTERN CREW MANAGEMENT PHILIPPINES INC. - Local in Manila seeks an experienced Crewing Officer to manage relief scheduling, travel bookings, and pre-joining preparations for seafarers.

You will review appraisal reports with the Fleet Manager and coordinate with vessels, ship managers and agents to ensure timely joinings. Requirements include a 4-year degree (business or maritime preferred), at least 4 years in crewing, and 2 years as MPO or Crewing Officer.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year course graduate, business or maritime preferred.
• Experience: at least 4 years as Crewing staff or equivalent in a manning company.
• 2 years as MPO or Crewing Officer is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans relief schedules for onboard seafarers 3 months in advance of contract completion.
• Discusses seafarer appraisal reports with Fleet Manager for training recommendations.
• Prepares seafarers assignment checklists for pre-joining preparations.
• Coordinates travel bookings and communication with vessels, ship managers and agents.
• Checks contracts and joining documents for correctness prior to processing.
