Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. - Cebu is seeking a skilled Electronics/Engineering professional to join our team in Cebu. The role focuses on supporting repair operations, field service and sustaining engineering to improve product reliability and reduce field returns.

You will build data structures, analyze root causes, and train Repair Operations staff while ensuring quality processes and documentation are maintained for fixed asset tools and test equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent courses
• Must have high analytical skills.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.
• Must be capable of interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
• Must have solid electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Must have solid automation troubleshooting skills.
• Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Repair Operations, Field Service Team, Sustaining Engineering and Test Development Engineering for product improvement.
• Drives failure analysis and root cause identification to decrease field defective returns.
• Builds data structures to determine product reliability and generate reports from Repair Operations and Field Issues.
• Supports test equipment setup, validation, and verification of software applications, equipment maintenance and upgrades, and upkeep of tools and jigs.
• Pilot the setup of end-to-end repair capabilities and conducts technical training for Repair Operations.
• Designs and reviews processes that drive quality, reliability, and process improvements.
• Creates documentation for repair processes and work instructions used in Repair Operations.
