Job summary

Cohu, Inc. is seeking a Product Team Leader in the Philippines to drive manufacturing objectives and oversee a cross-functional team including Planners, Process Engineers, VMC programmers, and Production Supervisors.

You will coordinate with Functional Managers to mentor staff, manage budgets and CAPEX, and push for productivity gains while ensuring quality standards and Zero Defects culture across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Manage Product Team consisting of Planners, Process Engineers, VMC programmers, and Production Supervisors in pursuit of stated objectives and goals, in coordination with Functional Managers.
• Provide work leadership and mentor product team members while directing routine team assignments and activities.
• Develop, control, plan & assist in budget and CAPEX preparation and implement cost-effective measures to support attainment of operating expenditures.
• Drive factory growth and support proper NPI transfers from the NPI team into normal production.
• Establish and maintain KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for presentation in management meetings.
• Develop and sustain productivity improvements using data analysis and related manufacturing tools.
• Actively participate and support the company's quality policy according to corporate standards, lead a culture of Zero Defects standard, deploy the required tools (8D, FMEA, Control Plans, OCAP, DMAIC) and data analysis within cross functional teams to achieve the committed results.
• Work with SCM and procurement team to support and ensure supply chain meets the needs necessary to production capacity targets.
