Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (EPDII) to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficient production and high quality output. You will develop automated and manual systems, test new approaches, and collaborate with Quality Control to uphold standards.

The role involves designing fixtures, coordinating maintenance, and optimizing layouts and costs while training staff and coordinating with external partners to continually improve production

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Server Assembly Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing system assembly or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
• Develop and test automated and manual systems.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet standards.
• Design fixtures and equipment, including installation and maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services.
• Analyze workflow, space, and equipment placement.
• Optimize layouts, production lines, and machine operations.
• Monitor costs and help prepare budgets while reducing waste.
• Train workers on new and existing processes.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to improve production.
