Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is hiring for a Manufacturing Crew to operate lines, perform cleaning, setups, and material handoffs with a focus on safety and quality. The role supports fast-paced production and adherence to SOPs across startup, flavor changes, and pack size changes.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree, have 1+ year manufacturing experience, and can work flexible shifts. Training, development, and a supportive environment are provided to grow with the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Vocational degree in a technical field.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Fresh graduates with a technical degree are welcome.
• Basic knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Flexible within shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assist Line Operator with pre-start checks to ensure area and equipment are clean and safe.
• Perform cleaning and disinfection per SOPs across startup, flavor/size changes, and close out.
• Set up equipment prior to run, ensuring safety and product quality during operation.
• Provide continuous supply of raw and packaging materials to filling lines.
• Ensure GMP, CRQS, Micro, and Zero FOM compliance; detect abnormalities and take corrective actions.
• Record shift events accurately in performance reports for turnover.
• Contribute to a safe working environment and safety programs; participate in SBO recording.
• Submit OPLs and tags regularly.
• Move between workstations as needed; handle loads and perform hand-eye tasks.
• Support monitoring and quality assurance tasks as required.

The Role

The Manufacturing Crew is responsible for carrying out general line operations and cleaning regimes according to planned operational requirements in order to safely deliver a good quality packed product.

What you'll be responsible for

• Assists the Line Operator to carry out pre start-up checks to ensure that the area and equipment is clean and is in a safe condition as per the SOP. Assists shutting down equipment and the area as per the SOP.
• Performs cleaning and disinfection activities as per Standard Operating Procedures. This covers C&D during startup, flavor change over, pack size change over, and close out (deep cleaning). This includes disassembly of equipment parts due for cleaning and re-assembly prior to startup. Alerts team leaders to potential sources of contamination and dirt identified in inaccessible places.
• Assists in setting up equipment prior to run, following SOPs ensuring safety of people and quality of products during operation.
• Provides a continuous supply of appropriate raw and packaging material from staging area to the respective filling lines.
• Ensures compliance to GMP standards, CRQS, Micro, and Zero FOM. Detects process abnormalities quickly and takes emergency action to prevent them.
• Accurately monitors and records events that have occurred during shift (cases packed/rejects etc.) in the performance report and turnover to the next shift.
• Must actively contribute to the safe working environment and safety programs. Must comply to Safety policies, Golden Rules and participate in SBO recording.
• Regular submission of OPLs and tags.
• Require a level of agility to move quickly between workstations, ascend and descend steps often carrying loads.
• Assembly and control operations also require a level of hand eye coordination and finger dexterity.
• Monitoring and Quality assurance tasks require an adequate level of sight and smell.

We're looking for someone who

• Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Degree holder in any technical course
• At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience
• Fresh graduates with a degree in any technical course are welcome to apply
• Basic knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting
• Flexible within pattern of shift work
