The Mandarin–English Translator is responsible for accurately translating written and verbal communication between Mandarin Chinese and English. The role ensures that messages, documents, and conversations are conveyed clearly while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents, emails, reports, and other materials from Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin.
• Provide real-time verbal interpretation during meetings, discussions, or calls when required.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and contextually correct.
• Assist foreign staff and management with communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking employees or clients.
• Review and proofread translated materials for clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and company information.
• Support administrative tasks related to translation when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Studies, or any related field (preferred but not always required).
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience as a translator, interpreter, or bilingual support staff is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Chinese and English grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
