Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an Assistant Accountant (Mandarin Speaking) to join our Accounting team in Metro Manila.

You will process high-volume accounts payable for China and Taiwan entities, review invoices and accruals in Ariba and Oracle, and support month-end close with reconciliations. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, with a BS in Accountancy and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college/university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software; able to learn new tools quickly.
Mandarin fluency in reading, writing, and communication; English fluency for business communications.

Responsibilities

Process and review high-volume accounts payable transactions for China and Taiwan entities.
Enter invoices, accruals, and expenses in Ariba and Oracle; identify exceptions and policy non-compliance.
Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and schedules.
Audit employee expense reports; enforce travel and expense policies; ensure timely reimbursements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders; maintain organized audit-ready documentation.
