Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field (MBA/postgraduate preferred).
• Minimum 12–15 years in energy or industrial project development.
• At least 5–7 years in senior leadership with P&L accountability.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield projects from permits to commissioning.
• Proven track record closing equity and project debt deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising and project financing (equity, debt, blended finance, DFIs, leasing).
• Build and manage investor and lender networks in the Philippines and APAC.
• Negotiate and close capital deals directly.
• Oversee greenfield project delivery: site selection, permits, EPC, construction, commissioning.
• Secure feedstock supply and long term offtake contracts.
• Develop repeatable models for project structure and delivery.
• Grow and lead the Philippine team during expansion.
• Ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Backed by international climate investors, the company operates a plant in Luzon and is expanding to multiple sites.

Our client is seeking a Managing Director to take a partner level role reporting directly to the Group CEO and Board. This position combines capital formation and greenfield project development, requiring someone who can secure funding, deliver new plants from site selection to commissioning, and build the local team during rapid expansion.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising and project financing (equity, debt, blended finance, DFIs, leasing).
• Build and manage investor and lender networks in the Philippines and APAC.
• Negotiate and close capital deals directly.
• Oversee greenfield project delivery: site selection, permits, EPC, construction, commissioning.
• Secure feedstock supply and long term offtake contracts.
• Develop repeatable models for project structure and delivery.
• Grow and lead the Philippine team during expansion.
• Ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA/postgraduate preferred.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in energy or industrial project development.
• At least 5-7 years in senior leadership with P&L accountability.
• Proven track record of personally delivering greenfield projects from permits through commissioning.
• Proven track record of personally closing equity and project debt deals.
• Experience combining capital raising and project delivery in the same business.
• Strong local network with regulators, banks, DFIs, and industrial energy buyers.
• Comfortable working in under-resourced environments, hands-on at sites.

Useful but not required: biomass/renewables background, carbon markets expertise, prior founder/early-stage experience.
