Job summary

Global Health Strategies, LLC is developing a Southeast Asia practice in Singapore and is seeking a Manager to support its growth. You will be the face to government, multilateral, and philanthropic partners across the region, guiding day-to-day client and partner relations and overseeing project deliverables.

You will collaborate with the Senior Advisor and leadership to build stakeholder networks, mobilize teams, and shape strategic counsel for diverse audiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in global health, public health policy, government affairs, or strategic communications.
• Established trusted relationships with senior officials in Singapore government and regional health institutions.
• Strong understanding of global health landscape including funders and policy processes.
• Track record of growing client relationships or funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for communications and advocacy to advance client goals.
• Oversee delivery of projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with leadership.
• Lead client calls and meetings, mentoring team members in client interactions.
• Build coalitions and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Singapore and the region.

About the Role

GHS is building a practice in Singapore to serve partners across Southeast Asia and the wider region We are hiring a Manager to support its development who will be the companys face to government multilateral and philanthropic partners in Singapore and the region The role focuses on the following managing day to day functions such as client and partner relations overseeing project deliverables and working with the Senior Advisor and GHS leadership to build relationships with key stakeholders in Singapore and the region The right candidate brings deep global health knowledge has strong communications skills is quick on their feet and is able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment They will report to the senior GHS leadership in India who are responsible for the development and integration of this practice Managers lead teams so that our clients achieve their goals They know how to devise a strategy and mobilize people to act build expertise across wide ranging topics and provide strategic advice to diverse audiences.

Communications

Making complex concepts accessible and actionable to a wide audience by developing strategies for creating key messages fact sheets social media posts and creative digital materials and mobilizing teams accordinglyBuild strong relationships with top tier media outlets so that our clients efforts receive the best coverage for advancing their goalsStrong writing and editing skills to translate complex documents to crisp and well written piecesLeveraging trends in media coverage key announcements new evidence and high level conversations to further strategies that work on behalf of client interests.

Advocacy

Identifying strategic moments and new champions across issues that the practice focuses onGetting partners on the same page through careful coordination relationship management and message alignmentGetting partners and other important stakeholders in the same place by overseeing high level events including identifying invitees and speakers and developing agendas or presentationsBuilding new coalitions of support for an issue with dedicated outreach organization and relationship managementFollowing and tracking trends in global health policies and funding opportunities to continuously innovate on strategy.

ClientProject Management

Oversee all major deliverables by developing a vision and strategy and delegating work in a fast paced deadline driven environmentLeading client calls and meetings while mentoring team members on how to do these things effectivelyOver communicating with senior management on progress and challenges creating solutions to problems before they ariseUnderstanding background and nuance across our priority issue areas to form compelling arguments and provide strategic counsel to clientsCoaching junior staff members on writing client facing interactions and time management skillsAttending events and meetings with senior management on behalf of clients.

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of experience in global health public health policy government affairs or strategic communications
• Established trusted relationships with senior officials in the Singapore government and regional health institutions
• Strong understanding of the global health landscape including key funders multilaterals and policy processes such as WHO the World Health Assembly and G20 health tracks
• Track record of winning and growing client relationships or funded programs
• Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate with ministers funders and media

Valuable Qualifications

• Experience in an agency consultancy foundation or multilateral setting
• Networks across ASEAN countries beyond Singapore
• Additional regional languages such as Mandarin Malay or Bahasa Indonesia
• Advanced degree in public health public policy international relations or communications
