Job summary

Ingram Micro in the Philippines seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing of products and services, maintain optimal inventory levels, and negotiate best deals with vendors. You will coordinate with multiple internal departments to resolve invoicing and shipment discrepancies and guide a team to meet operational targets.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree and 5+ years in procurement with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years functional experience including 4 years in the position and 2 years supervisory/4 years leadership.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to interface with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies.

Position Summary:

• Responsible for purchasing of products and services to meet company requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standards.
• Interfaces with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, shipments, etc.
• Buyers may specialize in a specific area (e.g. services, IT products, etc.) or functional support (sales).
• Support personnel manage the paperwork and purchasing systems transactions to ensure adherence to procedures.
