Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air's Network Control & Ops Support team seeks an experienced Operations Controller to maintain flight schedule awareness, support contingency planning, and coordinate with dispatch, crewing, and maintenance.

With 8–10 years in airline operations, you will drive safe decision making, oversee recovery plans, and ensure passenger comfort while balancing weight and regulatory constraints for a reliable travel experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or any aviation-related field.
• At least eight (8) years of airline industry experience in Operations Controller, Flight Dispatcher, Crew Controller, Maintenance Controller, or Airport Controller.
• Strong understanding of overall business operations and airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains situational awareness to identify issues affecting flight schedules, passenger convenience, and crew rosters.
• Proactively plans and designs contingency plans for identified issues.
• Obtains operational information to ensure safe decision making.
• Oversees Network Control recovery plans and communicates them to key stakeholders.
• Ensures recovery plans are safe, legal, and minimize guest inconvenience.
• Makes key decisions on offloading cargo and/or passengers respecting aircraft weight limits.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains overall comprehensive situational awareness to identify and analyze any issues that may impact the flight schedule, passenger convenience, and crew rosters.
• Proactively plans and designs contingency plans whenever actual or potential issues are identified.
• Obtains specific operational, dispatch, crewing, and technical information and constraints to ensure that a safe decision making process is achieved.
• Provide a centralized and coordinated approach to implement and oversee the Network Control recovery plans and ensure those plans are effectively communicated to the key stakeholders.
• Ensures recovery plans are safe and legal and that they minimize the inconvenience to the guest's journey.
• Makes key decisions relating to offloading of cargo and/or passengers in respect to aircraft weigh limitations.
