SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Manager (LPG Accounting) to oversee the LPG accounting function, ensure integrity of financial reporting, and lead a team in implementing controls and process improvements. The role partners with leadership to deliver timely, compliant statements.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA with at least 3 years in a managerial role, with LPG experience preferred. The schedule is hybrid (4 days onsite in Ortigas, 1 day WFH).

Qualifications

• CPA with 3+ years in managerial capacity.
• Preferably LPG operations experience.
• Hybrid schedule: 4x onsite at Ortigas office and 1x WFH.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting for accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead process improvements to streamline accounting operations and strengthen controls.
• Manage the accounting team, develop capabilities, foster accountability and teamwork.
• Implement policies and controls ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits for smooth closing and filings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What is this role about?

This role overseas the Accounting department for LPG related concerns; ensures the integrity in financial reporting by formulating policies and procedures; creates, maintains, and monitors a system of checks and controls that helps keep the company safe from financial fraud.

The accuracy and timeliness of the reports will support the leaders of the company in making proper decisions.

What will YOU do?

• Oversee Financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports thru thorough review of the closing processes and report generation;

• Lead Process Improvement and Efficiency to streamline accounting operations and strengthen internal controls by identifying inefficiencies, developing solutions and leading automation and digitalization initiatives;

• Manage Accounting Team to be able to manage and supervise the staff, develop team capabilities and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement via training, mentoring and coaching;

• Implement Policies and controls to ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness thru resolution of deficiencies and reconciliations;

• Ensure Audit Compliance to achieve smooth internal and external audit closing through timely and accurate completion of statutory filings, tax returns, and audit requirements and coordination with internal and external auditors for smooth audit processes; and

• Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

• CPA, at least 3 years experience in managerial capacity
