GCash seeks a data engineering professional to manage data warehousing, ETL, and analytics infrastructure in a fast-paced FinTech environment. You will drive scalable data solutions and collaborate across teams to ensure data quality and availability.

Responsibilities include owning data environments, defining standards, and engaging with business and software stakeholders to deliver reliable data flows and impactful analytics capabilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field.
• 5+ years of SQL, data modeling, ETL development and data warehousing experience.
• 5+ years maintaining data warehouses and performing large-scale data transformation with EMR/Hadoop/Hive or similar.
• Experience with hardware provisioning, capacity forecasting, and budget management is a plus.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Scala, or Java).

Who You’ll Be Working With

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Manage existing data resources and introduce technologies and tooling that advance data warehousing, science, analytics, and scalable data sharing.
• Own data environments (e.g., data warehouse and data-sharing platforms), with the capacity to contribute hands‑on development when needed.
• Oversee the design of data usage processes that support teams across the organization.
• Gather and clarify requirements through direct engagement with business, science, and software development stakeholders.
• Define and uphold Data Warehousing Engineering Standards & Practices covering versioning, readability, functionality, extensibility, data quality, test results, deployment, post‑deployment, and hypercare.

We’re Looking For

• Bachelors degree holder of any computer related course
• 5+ years of demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
• 5+ years maintaining data warehouses and performing large‑scale data transformation using EMR, Hadoop, Hive, or comparable big data technologies
• Experience with hardware provisioning, capacity forecasting, and budget management (nice to have)
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Scala, or Java)
