Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Accounting Leader in Metro Manila to drive a high-performing team and oversee onboarding, reporting, and continuous improvement. You will foster engagement, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to risk and quality standards.

The role emphasizes coaching and developing accounting professionals, optimizing resources, and delivering effective client services in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Corporate Services with exposure to Legal and Accounting functions.
• Strong client servicing and relationship management experience.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop accountants (qualified and part-qualified).
• Confident communication with senior management and stakeholders.
• Combination of technical leadership and client-focused delivery.

Job Description

THIS ROLE

In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals while ensuring excellent client onboarding, fostering team engagement, and driving continuous improvement.

• You'll oversee client onboarding and migration activities, ensuring smooth implementation and transition processes.
• You'll prepare management reports, facilitate stakeholder engagements, and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• You'll drive process improvements, standardization initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency.
• You'll ensure compliance with risk management frameworks and quality standards while serving as the escalation point for technical and operational matters.
• You'll lead, coach, and develop accounting teams while optimizing performance, resource allocation, KPIs, and service delivery outcomes.

• You'll bring 7+ years of Corporate Services experience with exposure to both Legal and Accounting functions.
• You'll leverage strong client servicing and relationship management experience to support business objectives.
• You'll demonstrate the ability to train, mentor, and develop qualified and part-qualified accountants.
• You'll communicate confidently and effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.
• You'll combine technical expertise, leadership skills, and client-focused delivery to drive successful outcomes.
