Job summary

GCash in Metro Manila is seeking a senior Sales/Business Development professional to drive merchant partnerships and revenue growth across multiple industries, with a focus on retail. The role requires strong leadership, deep customer insight, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally to deliver results.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in sales or BD, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a customer-obsessed mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in sales and/or business development.
• Self-starter, fast learner, customer-obsessed.
• Deep understanding of customer and merchant needs; aware of industry trends.
• Cross-functional leadership to influence and coach account managers.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Outstanding presentation skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple accounts across industries, especially retail.
• Strong customer service and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Strong business acumen preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps.
• Experience in FMCG, BNPL, consumer financing, or banking is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience under sales and/or business development role.
• Self-starter, willing to learn and act fast, and with obsession about the customer.
• Deep understanding of the customer and merchant needs, as well as being abreast with relevant industry trends.
• Cross-functional leadership - Have the credibility and integrity to influence people within the organization; able to guide/coach Account Managers to achieve a consistent high level of performance.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding presentation skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience in managing multiple accounts across different industries, particularly retail.
• Outstanding customer service and ability to multi-task to meet launch dates and deadlines.
• Strong business acumen is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic MS Office, Google Apps
• Experience in FMCG, BNPL, consumer financing, or banking industry is a plus but not required.
