Job summary

Manulife is expanding its Global Risk Intelligence & Technology team to design, automate, and scale reporting and analytics for financial risk oversight. The Manager will partner with actuarial, finance, risk, and engineering peers to deliver enterprise-ready dashboards and GenAI-enabled analytics using Power Platform, Azure, and Databricks.

The role emphasizes governance, controls, and end-to-end solution delivery, with hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to influence risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of analytics, BI, reporting automation, digital transformation, or risk technology experience.
• Proficiency with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dataverse.
• Strong dashboards/reports experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Experience building low-code and pro-code apps, workflow automations, and integrated solutions.
• Experience deploying AI-powered solutions (Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for analytics and integration.
• Knowledge of financial services, risk management, or regulatory reporting is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and end-to-end delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytics dashboards and digital solutions for Market, Liquidity, and Reinsurance Asset Risk oversight.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.
• Lead development of risk intelligence dashboards and monitoring capabilities.
• Develop data visualizations and self-service reporting for actionable insights to senior management and risk committees.
• Drive adoption of AI capabilities to enhance risk commentary and reporting.
• Ensure data governance, controls, and risk standards across analytics initiatives.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement for risk tech solutions.
