Job summary

Biopharma Asia in Manila is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Shared Service Center. You will support cost accounting, profitability analysis, and period-end close across entities, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.

Based in BGC, Taguig, you will partner with local and global finance teams, maintain SOPs, and prepare audit schedules while upholding internal controls and group policies. English fluency and 2–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting/finance with full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Experience within a Shared Services Center is preferred.
• Experience with Cost Accounting and Profitability Accounting.
• Experience with SAP CO-OM and CO-PA or reporting tools.
• Fluent English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support cost accounting and profitability analysis for assigned legal entities within a global SSC.
• Partner with local Finance and Controlling teams to provide operational and analytical support.
• Manage cost accounting maintenance and posting activities for overhead costs.
• Maintain cost accounting allocation in line with global guidelines.
• Execute period-end closing activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Prepare and support financial and management reports during close.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of outputs in cost accounting and profitability reporting.
• Serve as liaison for auditors; prepare audit schedules and analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and group policies.
• Track operational metrics and suggest improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training documentation.

Your Role:

As Management Accountant in a Manila Shared Service Center, you:

Support cost accounting and profitability analysis for one or more assigned legal entities within a global Shared Service Center.

Partner with local Finance and Controlling teams to provide operational and analytical support in cost accounting and profitability reporting.

Manage and execute cost accounting maintenance and posting activities to ensure an accurate and timely view of overhead costs for controlling analysis and business decision-making.

Maintain cost accounting allocation, ensuring compliance with global guidelines and data integrity requirements.

Execute period-end closing activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with international standards and company guidelines.

Prepare and support the delivery of financial and management reports required during period-end close.

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of cost accounting and profitability reporting outputs.

Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors; prepare comprehensive audit schedules, pre-audit analyses, and resolve complex audit queries.

Ensure all processes strictly adhere to internal controls, Group accounting policies, and local statutory regulations.

Track relevant operational metrics and contribute ideas that improve close performance, data quality and stakeholder experience.

Develop and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation.

Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree holder in finance, accounting or any related field required

At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance with direct related experience with full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis

Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred

Experience with Cost Accounting and Profitability Accounting

Experience with SAP CO-OM and CO-PA or and reporting tools

Fluent English language skills required

Willing to be based in BGC, Taguig

Amenable to work on a mid-shift / night shift schedule (varying shifts every MEC and NONMEC)
