Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems and preventive maintenance in mall facilities.

You will ensure reliable equipment operation, schedule PM activities via CMMS, and monitor energy usage across departments. You will review contractor reports, ensure compliance with national and local codes, and prepare documentation for permits and project approvals.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer is required.
• Knowledge to maintain and operate mall equipment and utilities.
• Able to analyze quotations and perform own EDD estimate.
• Schedule major equipment preventive maintenance via CMMS.
• Familiar with national/local building codes and safety standards.
• Willing to be assigned in MOA, Pasay or other Metro Manila mall branches.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability of equipment in assigned department/area.
• Schedule preventive maintenance via CMMS.
• Monitor water and electrical consumption of the area.
• Ensure compliance with MEPFS housekeeping rules.
• Manage documentation of incidents and escalation.
• Evaluate contractor reports through inspection.
• Prepare project documents and approval synopses.
• Assist in work permits for tenants/contractors.
• Lead MEPF committees in meetings and issues.
• Prepare MSRS, FAPR and related billings with docs.
• Attend meetings, mall discussions, tenant concerns.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Monitor electro-mechanical ops (AHU, elevators, pumps, etc.).
