Job summary

SM Savemore Market Apalit is part of SM Supermalls, a leading mall developer and operator in Southeast Asia. The Resident Engineer will supervise the mall’s MEPFS equipment operations to ensure safe, reliable utilities for daily mall operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (professional license preferred) and experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and supervision, with a focus on building facilities and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or college degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; professional license preferred.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing facilities (high-rise building operat ion equipment) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems function safely and efficiently.
• Manage contractors and projects: bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring to meet standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance through monitoring, analysis, and corrective measures for water and power usage.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans, inspecting, and addressing service concerns.
• Promote safety and professional growth by enforcing safety standards and participating in training initiatives.
