Job summary

San Miguel Corporation in Limay, Bataan is seeking a Maintenance Technician-Instrument to perform skilled preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and troubleshooting on instrument equipment.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications, licensed is preferred, or a technical school graduate with related experience. The candidate must be physically fit to understand and carry out day-to-day instructions.

Qualifications

• Graduates of BS Electrical Engineering or BS Electronics and Communications Engineering; licensed engineer preferred.
• At least a technical school graduate with related work experience may qualify.
• Must be physically fit to troubleshoot instrument equipment and understand day-to-day instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on instrument equipment and control systems.
• Repair, calibrate and test instruments including flow, pressure, level and temperature instruments, control valves and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and modify instrumentation to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Description: Performs skilled preventive maintenance work, repairs and installations, overhauling, troubleshooting, modification, calibration, adjustment, testing on a wide variety of Instrument equipment such as flow, pressure, level and temperature instruments, control valves, motor operated valves, slide valves, process analyzers, compressor and furnace shutdown systems and other equipment packages.

Candidate must be a Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering or BS Electronics and Communication Engineering, preferably licensed Engineer, or at least technical school graduate with related work experience. He must be physically fit to troubleshoot Instrument equipment and can easily understand instructions in carrying out day to day activities.
