Job summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation in Manila is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Personnel to join our team in Tondo. This full-time role focuses on routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of our facilities and equipment.

You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, maintain logs, comply with safety regulations, and support operations to minimise downtime and ensure reliable logistics services.

Qualifications

• Must have proven maintenance experience in a logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Competent in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic welding or fabrication work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
• Identify, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities including lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of all work performed and parts used.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls to minimise operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal impact on operations.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and metalwork tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, reporting shortages to management.

About the role

Filoil Logistics Corporation is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Personnel to join our team in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics facilities and equipment. As Maintenance Personnel, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of our infrastructure and machinery. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimising downtime, and ensuring the safety and reliability of our logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Personnel, Technician, or similar role in a logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment and machinery
• Competency in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic welding or fabrication work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with safety regulations
• Physical fitness and capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and working at heights when required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in maintenance, welding, or electrical work are preferred
• Ability to work independently whilst also functioning effectively as part of a team
