Job summary

Luxottica, a global eyewear leader, seeks a Maintenance Equipment Engineering Supervisor in Biñan, Philippines to oversee maintenance of production equipment, lead technicians, and ensure uptime and safety while driving continuous improvement. The role collaborates with engineering and production teams to optimize plant performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, 3+ years in team leadership, and strong CMMS experience (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint).

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or plant maintenance.
At least 3 years managing maintenance teams.
Proficient with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, MP2).
Experience with conveyors, ovens, robotics, injection molding, packaging equipment.
Basic to intermediate control systems, sensors, PLCs knowledge.
Familiar with Lean TPM or Six Sigma is desirable.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily maintenance activities, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive tasks.
Lead and schedule maintenance staff for optimal coverage and productivity.
Maintain CMMS for work orders, assets, and parts.
Ensure maintenance complies with safety and environmental regulations.
Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and production on improvements.
Assist in equipment upgrades or replacements.
Train and mentor technicians; identify skill gaps.
Manage spare parts inventory and control costs.
Assist in maintenance budgeting and expenditure tracking.
