Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel rooms, common areas, and back‑of‑house spaces regularly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting and mechanical equipment.
• Handle minor repairs like door fixes, bulb replacement and furniture repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance complaints and ensure all amenities function properly.
• Carry out basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
• Repair plumbing issues such as leaks and clogged drains.
• Check fire alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting for safety.
• Monitor energy usage and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Provide maintenance updates to hotel management.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized services.

• Handle minor repairs like fixing doors, replacing light bulbs, and repairing furniture.

• Respond quickly to guest complaints about maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures or malfunctioning equipment).

• Ensure all guest room amenities, such as air conditioning, lighting, and appliances, are working properly.

• Carry out basic electrical repairs like rewiring outlets, replacing light fixtures, and fixing power issues.

• Repair plumbing problems, including leaks, clogged drains, and faulty water systems.

• Check fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting regularly for safety.

• Maintain proper chemical levels in the swimming pool and spa.

• Create and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for hotel equipment and infrastructure.

• Work with outside contractors for specialized services (e.g., elevator maintenance, pest control).

• Monitor and evaluate contractors' work to ensure it meets hotel standards.

• Track energy usage and suggest ways to improve efficiency, such as using energy-saving equipment.

• Provide regular maintenance updates to hotel management.
