Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably within hospitality or food service.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment specifications, and maintenance schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule if required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy for recording maintenance logs and accessing digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues reported by restaurant staff, ensuring quick resolution.
• Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting of equipment, or escalate complex issues to qualified technicians when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used.
• Ensure all work areas remain clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support the implementation and compliance of health and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure minimal disruption to restaurant operations during maintenance work.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as required to support overall facility upkeep.
