Job summary

Infosys BPM Philippines seeks a skilled Mainframe Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications on IBM Mainframe systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key duties include COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Syncsort coding; supporting CICS and online processing; and batch scheduling with Control-M/CA7.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, Syncsort.
• Strong experience with CICS and online transaction processing.
• Good understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing.
• Experience in SQL and database design (DB2 preferred).
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Control-M, CA7, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with version control tools and change management processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mainframe Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications running on IBM Mainframe systems. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Syncsort.
• Strong in analytical – scenario based – able to give solution to the problem
• Perform coding, unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Design and coding with programming language
• Work on batch job scheduling, monitoring, and optimization (e.g., Control-M / CA7).
• Work on Online processing.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Support system integration and deployment activities.
• Maintain system documentation and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications
