Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Industrial Technology or Diploma in Mechanical Technology.
• NC II in Machining certificate is an advantage but not required.
• With or without experience in Machine Shop.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and operates conventional machines (drilling, grinding, milling) to meet specifications.
• Reviews samples, drawings or instructions to understand output requirements.
• Checks dimensions using IMTE and measuring tools; validates finished work.
• Monitors machine operation, adjusts feed, and identifies issues to maintain quality.
• Inspects finished products against requirements and ensures process conformance to standards.
• Performs routine machine maintenance and simple check-ups.
• Maintains daily accomplishment reports and checklists; follows work instructions.
• Supports continuous improvement programs and works well in a team.

Job description

Scope and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares and operates conventional machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.;
2. Reviews samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output;
3. Checks raw materials dimensions with use of IMTE;
4. Monitors machine while working to adjust the feed and identifies issues;
5. Checks visually and manually for defects in product or workmanship;
6. Inspects and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly;
7. Prepares daily accomplishment report and daily checklist;
8. Complies with work instructions and procedures to ensure manufacture of products, which conform to company and customer quality standards;
9. Observes safety practices at all times;
10. Suggests and implements continuous improvement programs;
11. Have the ability to work in a team environment with good customer relation skills;
12. Performs routine machine maintenance and check-ups;
13. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior.

Education and Training Requirements:

Skills Requirements:

• Ability to use measuring instruments as vernier caliper, micrometer caliper, etc.
