Job summary

Asti Business Services Inc. in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to manage cylinder assets and negotiate with customers over discrepancies, ensuring accurate recovery and proper return of assets in line with safety standards.

The role requires on-site field checks, coordination with internal teams, and effective dispute resolution with customers around cylinder holdings and related charges.

Responsibilities

• Reflects, demonstrates, advises customers on safe and effective handling of cylinders in line with Linde Safety standards.
• Always act in a professional manner in dealing with both Internal & External stakeholders - one that is fair and appropriate for the business and its customers.
• Effectively negotiates with customers regarding discrepancies noted and subsequent charges for lost or unaccounted cylinders.
• Drive the settlement process on acceptance or non-acceptance of offers to pay for lost cylinders.
• Responsible for utilising and responding to key reports regarding turnover, losses and write-ups.
• Proactively ensure with customers that all assets are accurately accounted for and charges for lost and or damage cylinders where applicable while ensuring customer agreements are satisfactorily concluded.
• Ensure quality customer services in relation to cylinder holdings dispute management.
• Support multi-faceted inquiries on cylinder holding issues and system maintenance including relationship within complex account structures.
• Conducts cylinder checks on customer premises.
• Facilitate/drive retrieval of excess cylinders from customer site and ensure that expected end results are obtained - all identified assets for pull out are properly returned to Linde premises.
• Identification and effective recovery of illicitly held cylinders.
